this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; IMO that's a terrific hire and upgrade. He was very impressive up here with Marinelli/Cowboys. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...condary-coach/...

Now I’m looking up if any of his former Seahawks DB’s are going to be available in free agency that we might bring in. Lo and behold, CB Shaquill Griffin is a free agent.

Re: Saints hiring Kris Richard as secondary coach
Kris is a no nonsense guy. Saw a lot of him up here while coaching the Cows. Not a lot of missed assignments/blown coverages.
He expects a lot from his players, teaches and demands excellence on those boundaries. Marshon Lattimore could really benefit here from KR as his new position coach. Maybe even we find a way to re sign Marcus Williams (Free Agent) and he gets coached up into a serious ball hawk. |

Seem to be losing a few Coaches to the Lions but signing Kris Richard is good move.

Re: Saints hiring Kris Richard as secondary coach
Change is the only way to get better. We have to change coaches because of our coaches being poached. We've had really good coaches lately. Let's restock the pantry.
