Mickey Loomis sees Carr as the next Drew B and he is right, in a way.

We will almost certainly make a splash trading up in the draft so we have as little depth and as few talented young players as possible, so if any 30-somethings get hurt we can start journeymen and undrafted free agents in their place and blame the season on that.

Yes it helps with the cap long term. How much of that help comes in 2025 or 2026 is hard to say. Anything that is not carrying Carr’s $50m salary helps with 2026 and with not having any desd cap from him in 2027. My estimate is $6 million cap relief in 2025, $33 million cap relief in 2026, and $41m cap reflief in 2027 compared to letting him play out his contract. Total $80m savings from $30m 2025 payback and $50m 2026 salary off the books.

If any of these rookie young QBs work out, we're soon to be in great cap shape.

Bro did you just repost your old post so you can act like you’re some kind of all knowing NFL wiseman? Lol. Or maybe it was so you could say “I told you so” to people?

Idk. But that’s some funny **** man. Lol.
