Yup. He looked great as a rookie (pre-injury) by showing what we all thought was great promise to build off of...but it turns out that was just him already at his finished product.

The thing is that players who improve work all season and all offseason. When a player is injured half the time they may not progress at the usual rate, or even half the usual rate, they may just tread water and never get out of the shaking off the rust time. Players need live action and practice to improve, and injuries can make them tentative. Analzone could not improve because he was never health long enough to have momentum.
