Re: 2021 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
Personally I would prefer Ruiz play at his natural position...center. He is undersized for a guard while McCoy is built to play guard. Play the best five to their strengths.

But if Ruiz can't grasp the concepts and reads at Center, then we've got to find another Center or Right Guard; Clapp would be the immediate remedy... Clapp has the head for it, he's just has to get stronger, naturally of course... |

Saints 2020 Year-in-Review: Cesar Ruiz "Coaches planned on McCoy, predominantly a guard in college at Texas A&M, and Ruiz to each have reps at guard and center during preseason games to find their best fits. Unfortunately, a nationwide outbreak of COVID-19 forced the cancelation of offseason workouts, preseason games, and limited training camp. Coaches felt that leaving McCoy at center would provide the best continuity during a limited offseason. That left Ruiz to learn a new position at the NFL level with fewer reps." |

I'm sorry JP, but you clearly misremembered. It happens at times. |

You might want to check your reality, JP. |

I certainly do not believe everything that comes out of the Saints PR room. I read every source I can get hold of for Saints news. I then make my own decisions. |
