No. Not interested.

Re: Sam Darnold... should we?
It’s a near impossible task I would imagine, but if you could get two players really committed to the idea of sharing quarterback duty then you would be able to create a powerful offense. A 60 to 40% Ratio would make it really hard to scheme against. If that’s what Payton is going for, and the team is behind it, and the QBs too...then let’s roll !

Re: Sam Darnold... should we?
Hard pass on Darnold. Not that I think he's terrible, but he's not worth trading away value for.
My thoughts about the backup QB position shift between drafting Ian Book in the late rounds, picking up a fairly young free agent with good experience in Nick Mullens, going with Siemian, or signing a old intelligent vet like Alex Smith, Colt McCoy or Hoyer. |

I agree with the Ian book if he drops to 3rd rd the guys a drew Brees clone, Payton would make him a top 5 QB in 3 years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Ian's style is different than Drew, but I think the intangibles are similar and just the fact that both were overachievers in college. Ian reminds me a lot of Jake Plummer, with less interceptions. |

Rd 3 steal. I would jump all over it.

3rd round ? He'll be available late in the draft. A inconsistent Senior bowl didn't help his stock either. Saints won't make another Grayson G mistake. Most scouts have Ian selected from rounds 5-7 if drafted at all. |
Re: Sam Darnold... should we?
Psychotherapy would be to expensive trying to get the Horror of the Jets out of his head.
