When you join a union there is no different faction, it is called a union for a reason. The CBA is one deal that marries higher wages and potentially more games. Players don't get to cash a bigger check then cry about 60 more minutes of work and if you buy that crap I have a snow skiing resort for sale in Hawaii. |

There are people who did not want the 17th game. The issue was voted upon. They lost that vote. You really believe because the majority voted for an issue that the dissenters lost their right to complain about it? SFIAH |

Re: Saints players complain about 17 game schedule
The more money the league makes the more money the players get its that simple. The cap increases and so will the salaries so they should chill.
However, I am not for 17 games. I rather go 18 and have an extra bye week. The bench mark of .500 is a standard that has been set. Below .500 gets people fired. 17 games takes that away. Also records be damned. You might as well throw all the records out. They will mean nothing going forward. I just don't buy into this change the league for the sake of change. What is great about the NFL is that the demand for it is high so it makes the games more important each and every week. So not the supply will eventually over take the demand and then what... |
