Of all the things I learned as a Transplant Coordinator in my previous life, that was among the best advice I'd received in that time...
My Aunt, Father and wife had back surgeries. Two stenosis rotorooters, and one fusion (my wife), all with positive life changing outcomes. Like JP said, get with a neurosurgeon, they are God's angels.
