Yup. Smart kid. We've used pretty much the same philosophy in building our nest eggs. We've lived in the same house for the last 30 years of our 32 year marriage. It's all we need and it still gives us a few luxuries. So many young people get their first good paying job and move into a $500,000 home and replace cars every two or three years.

Yea screw that. I will never buy a new car again as long as I live. We are minimalists and forgo the nice automobiles and houses and use the money for travel. I’ll take being debt free over luxury living every time. I mean if I had AK’s money I would splurge but only on cocaine and hookers.
