I applaud his wisdom, but I question how its possible. It says he lived off sponsorship money. But wasn't he a sleeper pick in the NFL draft, an unheralded third down back drafted in the 3rd round who split time in college at a struggling program and was going to a 7-9 team? Salary is only one aspect of an NFL players income. They get workout bonuses, performance bonuses, roster bonuses.. None of that is salary or endorsement.

Its easy to do when you don't come out of college and try to be P Diddy. It might be shocking that some black NFL players know how to manage their finances and spending habits but they do.
