The Steelers sat patiently with this player at the top of their board. This fills a major need for the Steelers with arguably the best player at his position in the entire draft. He's a three down back which the team has been lacking since the exit of Le'Veon Bell.

With the 24th pick of the 2021 draft the Steelers select RB Najee Harris.

I’ll give you credit Chris, this was an interesting and fun idea. Got me looking at the draft in a different way. Thanks.

Before the Jags make their second pick, I want to confess that I’m making this pick outside of the “Jags GM” bubble. If I was in that bubble we would select OT Mayfield from Michigan. However, we are not.

As Bengals GM I was faced with the need to protect my young QB and select a quality tackle or selecting the best WR out there and reuniting him with my QB. I was set on Chase...and Euph snaked him. So I went with the tackle.

As Jags GM I was faced with the same problem in needing to protect my new Franchise QB or selecting the best RB...a large Henry type of guy. And Guido snakes him! However, even though there is a very quality tackle available, doing the same thing twice would be boring for me. We’ll get a tackle to start off the second round.

So based upon reading up on Jags needs (something I would not have usually done) and seeing the overall rankings of players available, the Jags select

Thanks Boston! I’m pretty sure we’ve done it before years ago but it’s never become an annual thing because it’s too difficult to get everybody on the same page and making their picks in a timely manner. This has gone pretty well though I’d say. Maybe next year we can come up with a different, more efficient way to do it.

It’ll be fun next week to see if any of us nailed the real picks.
