Even if Book is the #2, I still think having Hill around to do all the other stuff he does well would be worth a contract. That's assuming Hill isn't the starter this year of course. You never know!

Brees, Wilson, Theismann, Flutie. Taylor, maybe height isn't the best litmus test or conclusively relevant.

The wisdom is that a QB needs to be able to see over the heads of his lineman but a lineman drops 4"-6" on a pass play and no one is tall enough to look over a defenders hands when they are in the air. Favre and Rodgers are both 6'2" with an ocean of variance in their interception %.

Lol, thatís kool. Some might think heís a wasted pick but go back to the start of saints history. 4th rd picks are pretty much a reach at any position.
Heís a handful of hits out of 60 picks in that rd that stuck
HOF. Morten Anderson
Joe federsfield
Joel hildinburg
Lorenzo Neal
Danny weorsful. (Inop) pfff
Fred weary
Jari evans
Jerome bushrod
Antonio Pittman (iffy)
Jauntsy Gardner
David oyminota

Donít give me no shyyt on this because it took me some time.
Sometimes it works a hell of a lot of times it donít. Iím gonna add Ian to the list that hits.

Good point! There are some real gems there! Here's to Book being among them.

Although Danny Wuerffel and Pittman are a bit of a stretch. Lol.

It would look pretty much the same for every team in the league.

Canít say a 4th rd pick for a QB is wasted pick. Someone sees quality coachable smarts and throw in some athletic ability I sure.

Was it garret Grayson that threw a pick 6 his first pass in a preseason game?
