Re: Saints Pick Notre Dame QB Ian Book in the fourth round
Even if Book is the #2, I still think having Hill around to do all the other stuff he does well would be worth a contract. That's assuming Hill isn't the starter this year of course. You never know!

Re: Saints Pick Notre Dame QB Ian Book in the fourth round
Brees, Wilson, Theismann, Flutie. Taylor, maybe height isn't the best litmus test or conclusively relevant.
The wisdom is that a QB needs to be able to see over the heads of his lineman but a lineman drops 4"-6" on a pass play and no one is tall enough to look over a defenders hands when they are in the air. Favre and Rodgers are both 6'2" with an ocean of variance in their interception %. |

Was it garret Grayson that threw a pick 6 his first pass in a preseason game?

Re: Saints Pick Notre Dame QB Ian Book in the fourth round
I could see him as the face of the franchise in a few years if he develops like Payton thinks he will. He might even have a chip on his shoulder. It's obvious that he's a competitor. I like his interviews and he comes across as intelligent and not cocky just good.
