I could see him as the face of the franchise in a few years if he develops like Payton thinks he will. He might even have a chip on his shoulder. It's obvious that he's a competitor. I like his interviews and he comes across as intelligent and not cocky just good.

This thread should read, Saint Thomas and Sean Payton select Ian Book Norte Dame.

I still can’t believe it. The closest I ever came in any draft was chuck muncie, and he was a no brainer. Cooper Kupp was a close call but saints took Alvin K.

Good luck to Ian. I won't compare him to Brees, Wilson or any other great QB … it isn't fair to Ian.

He'll get his chance to show his worth in a preseason game or two. If CSP places him on IR, chances are he likes what he sees.

Camp awaits.
