We shall see; as I referenced during the draft, Vernon Davis was taken by Frisco at slot no. 6 in the first round and was suppose to revolutionize the game...

He had a decent career, one season he was named second team All-Pro, only two Pro-Bowls; won a Superbowl Ring with DEN where he had no receptions...

That's a bust for that high a pick. Now Pitts has that same athletic advantage, but this is the NFL, where linemen run a 4.6; Reggie Bush wasn't as special in the NFL...

So the A-T-L took the risk, and I've never turned down some good schadenfreude; but we've got the personnel to check him...

^^^ No hate on Falcons draft pick Pitts, however I see him as Vernon Davis 2.0. Has all the measurables, physical traits & tools you can ask for but will it translate at the next level ? … risky but we shall see. Superstardom is no guarantee.

For what it's worth, Kittle and Kelce' were mid rounders and arguably the best in the league at TE.

But now teams are looking for that type of TE and with the increased demand they're likely going to be drafted earlier and earlier. That said, you can still find gems later mixed in amongst the coal heap.

Surprised that Jadaveon Clowney isn't listed. He could rebound with the Browns, whose defense is probably a better fit for him.

Joe Burrow is a good candidate from that list.

He was playing extremely well before the season ending injury. Still kind of surprised they went with Chase with their 1st overall pick in the draft this year.

By the way, Kelce was taken with the 63rd overall pick of the draft, the first pick of the 3rd round. There were only 30 2nd round picks in 2013. That really doesn't qualify as a midround pick.
