Sean Payton on Michael Thomas’ ankle: “So far, so good”

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm more concerned about the # 2 spot at WR. 3quan has been inconsistent, Callaway & Deonte were banged up last season and Cook/Emmanuel Sanders are gone. I think Adam (TE) will play well & my dark horse Kawaan Baker ...

Hopefully Mike is 100% by the time it matters most. As a whole, our WR group must perform better than that PFF 27th ranking from 2020.

Agree totally Major. And of course that 27 ranking had nothing to do with the Saint’s difficulty stretching the field...it was ALL on Brees arm of course 🙄. With Thomas’s injury, i’m honestly surprised they found 5 teams whose WR corps was worse!

AKA the Saints killer. I fully expect the younger guys to battle it out at camp, however Tate would be a very good insurance policy in the slot.

No pun intended but veteran NFL players can be "golden" .
