If you can, try Franklin's BBQ and Stubb's downtown. Cooper's is also great. And don't forget to get you some Torchy's tacos whether breakfast or regular.
If you're in for a Hill Country ride, try Opie's in Spicewood. Dry Comal Creek Winery & Vineyards in New Braunfels, and drive to Wimberly for lunch. The Oasis isn't what it used to be, having now become a commercial monstrosity. The view is still great, however. The Elephant Room has good music too. The Texas museum by UT is awesome also. And the Texas Capitol, where you get to learn just why the Texas star is a five pointed star. | |
