There what is? Of course any front office would want a player back as soon as possible. The other two factors in play are the doctors and the player himself.

Payton sure doesn’t seem like he’s very happy with Thomas right now. I’m starting to think maybe there’s something to all the rumors about the rift.

Seriously? If Loomis is discussing it openly with the press, you know damn well there not happy with Thomas failing to miss a follow up appointment with the doctors...

If they were covering for Thomas, they'd said so and not left it with a we're not happy with the timing and that's all we're gonna say; Saints FO would have covered for him...
