Michael Thomas Out for Start of Season

Loomis and Payton's statements seem honest but still seem to have a bit of CYA in them. I think both the org and Thomas likely each have some portion of the blame for foolishly kicking the can (in this case, the can being Thomas' ankle) down the road.

Smart football folks will never let a commodity devalue to far so as not to recoup compensation; you're close; and Payton and the Mickster will save Thomas from his own PR disaster of his making - youthful hubris...
