Is the rational that the last guy we signed from the Jets was so good, this has to work guiding this signing?

Matt O'Leary is a avid Jets fan & has a weekly podcast mentioned Poole quite a bit. Talked about how he was a huge upgrade over Buster Skrine, one of the better finds at slot & rarely committed penalties.

The more I listened to his observations on Brian's play over the last 2 seasons up in NY, the more encouraging this signing will be for New Orleans. Already a good player in his prime, ball hawk ability & now gets coached up by Richard.

Little risk, big reward type signing. Underrated player because of the team he used to play for. I like this move

The 13th most valuable corner sounds very promising. As you pointed out Kris Richards is a very bright secondary coach and I still can't believe Payton finally got his man that he admires so much.

As a veteran I believe he is guaranteed his entire 2021 salary so he is definitely not just a camp body.
