If they were dead even it would be to the team's advantage to have Winston start and utilize Hill in various other roles. If Hill was starter then Winston's roster spot would be wasted.

My logic clearly escaped you. Which of those 31 franchises has a player able to do all of the things that Hill can accomplish? That's right. None of them. Hill is too valuable to be wasted as a game manager. And I am FAR from being the only one that feels that way. I'm Team Taysom, too.

That said, I agree with Charlie Weis who said he has no doubt that Payton already knows exactly who is going to be the starter and has known since before training camp ever started.
