That last Thomas tweet means one of 3 things:
1) He feels the team/training staff is largely at fault for his ankle situation and all of these delays. Perhaps he was fed up with the way they wanted to treat his injury and his not returning calls and doing things his way during the offseason was his way of coping 2) He has some kind of dirt (not related to him or his injury) that is supposed to be kept in the locker room but he is/was feeling tempted to let it out because as of late he feels like the team is disparaging him over the injury situation. 3) Michael is a legend in his own mind who is just throwing stuff on social media to illicit reactions and just doing the random WR chaos Antonio Brown type thing. If it is #1, he should just drop the passive aggressive messages and either go straight to ownership with his issues or give an interview to SI or the Athletic and reveal his side of the story. It's better to have out this civil war and see where that leads us, rather than this protracted cold war. If it is #2 or #3, he really is being a diva and we'd best served to trade him, pennies on the dollar if necessary. |

Didn’t watch follow or care about the Olympic games because of all the Wokeness on display and ratings were a disaster as a result. I don’t see how this works out well, sure he has his own side but can’t see that he contractually, obligation / committed to keep team in the loop during the off-season … this will get very ugly before goes away. |

Plenty of fans came down on Brees for saying he respected the flag and would not kneel for it because of his grandfather’s service? I must have missed that.

I saw it up and down my timeline. You know social media creates an echo chamber for thoughts and positions they believe you’ll identify with based on the fact they’re tracking everything you do lol. But yeah, I saw a lot of “**** Drew Brees”. The usual cultural divide.

Gotcha. I still consider what Thomas said about Brees’ comment throwing him under the bus though.

I actually lost a little respect for Drew because he caved and pretended to understand and agree with it all. He doesn't agree with it. He just did what everyone else does now. They're all too scared to disagree out of fear of being labeled a racist (and they're not) so they just smile and agree with it all. Spineless fools. He caved to try to save his last season. And it was ruined way before it started. He was a shell. He looked empty. You could see it in his eyes. The fire was gone. Its because he gave his spine to the woke so he could get along with teammates for one more season. |
