To be honest, I would be far more concerned if Hill and Winston were constantly having their way with the defense. And don't forget that Brees would be throwing three or four picks some training camp practices trying to push the envelope to see how much he could get away with. And I cannot envision Payton going with a two QB system at all. Winston as the starter and Hill having a few packages, sure, but not any sort of material number of sets. |

Getting into a rhythm really matters to a QB. Everyone knows the feeling of getting into a rhythm and how that affects the task at hand. Drew would have had better numbers last year if Payton didn't insist on putting Hill in at the worst possible times. Maybe he was trying to gauge Hill's effectiveness under center. I don't know what the plan was but it made me wonder what Sean was thinking.
