Re: Packers vs Saints Pregame Discussions

Hate to say it, if I feel surprisingly good about this game. Rodgers hasn’t played any in preseason and the Packers have not looked good. While not
as good as playing in the dome, it’s been noted that Rodgers struggles in Florida, so that could help. D-line and LBs have looked good. So have Winston and Callaway.

Now why would you hate to say it? Positivity should never be feared. But, I agree with you. I feel very good about this week. Besides, it's pretty difficult to go 20-0 if you lose the first game.

Being forced onto the road for our first home game will give us an extra chip on our shoulders, much like Tulane. I think we'll play fantastic and a rout of the Packers is not out of the question.

Hopefully it’s muggy as hell in Jacksonville on Sunday. Packers are definitely not used to that southern heat and humidity.

That could spell “cramp city” for their players 😊.

Every fan feels their team is going to go 20-0 at the start of the season. I know I’m not putting on pads for the game myself, but over confidence is a killer sometimes. I just like to play things a little more conservatively personally. If one expects the worst, then all surprises are pleasant.

I never expect the worst in anything. I'd much rather deal with unexpected disappointment than to always having the feeling of dread.
