Former Saints LB Parys Haralson Passes Away

This is a complete shock. He was such a solid player in those weird Rob Ryan years. Only 37 years old.

Damn I just saw this and my eyes watered up. From everything I've read about him, he was one hell of a guy, made the world a better place to be in. He did great football work for us, there is a lot of memories of him on the field for us in my head. RIP, we here at the Saints(fans and all) loved and still love you. I know he'll be remembered mostly as a 49er, but this is his home too.

Damn, I'm sure David Patten's death was also due to motor vehicle crash.

RIP Parys, he was one of those physical players I really enjoyed seeing on our D and seemed like a great guy.

It's now being reported that Pary's passed away of a stroke per coroner's report.

Rest easy Mr. Haralson.

Can never tell when those situations may occur, unless there was uncontrolled HBP. And even then. A friend of ours passed of an aneurysm at the young age of 65. He was a completely super fit athlete having just recently done the Kilimanjaro Marathon in Tanzania.
