Re: Kwon & Davenport placed on IR
Exactly! Coaches and GM's know that when or how a player has been acquired doesn't matter. Every player on the roster is looked at only in what they provide come gameday. Otherwise no one would ever release a 1st round pick and it happens fairly regularly.

if I’m wrong, but the capitalized part is key: BEST ABILITY IS AVAILABILITY In other words if you aren’t available to play you aren’t worth sh*t to the team. That’s his point. |

Re: Kwon & Davenport placed on IR
What about the 7 VACCINATED coaches getting Covid? Anyone feel safer attending a vaccinated crowd of 70,000? I’m one of those people who get the flu when I get the flu vaccine. When I don’t get the flu vax 99% of the time I don’t get flu.
Liberal? Vax MANDATES are as logical as evacuating US bases in Afghanistan before civilians. My body, my choice - only works for Liberals? When they want to kill babies. If some are forced to get vax - will those forcing them be liable for their illness or death? THEY SHOULD BE BUT WONT. |

As for Davenport, this fan has had enough of him. Three draft picks with two first rounders spent on this reach clearly has not paid off. Cue up all those that want to use his injuries as excuses. Cut bait and get a player in there who will actually see the friggin field. Nothing against the player personally. Like his game in the 30 or so percent of the time he’s been available. But that ain’t enough. Just my take. |

The picks given up don’t bother me because most 1st rounders never live up to their draft position anyway. Look at our roster, most of our studs aren’t 1st rd picks. AK himself is worth two 1st rounders himself. Just look at our secondary, outside of Jenkins, all of them have proven to be 1st rd trade players if that was considered. Basically, I’m saying we’ve been fortunate enough to land players who where drafted beyond the 1st rd, whom have played like 1st rounders. |

I don’t dislike the player. I don’t dislike his game. If he’d have stayed even somewhat healthy he would have warranted a 14th overall pick. But a heck of a lot more than a 14th was spent on him and he’s spent a heck a lot of time on the injured list. |

I know that’s few and far between but let’s not forget Ingram was injured most of his early career, same goes for Hendrickson. Also, the Saints don’t trade up unless they absolutely love that player. I would resign him to a low deal to see if he could get over the injury bug when his rookie contract is up. Just my opinion on Davenport. |

I'm sorry, but I simply do not get the angst over something that has absolutely no present relevance. All of this "what could have been" talk is useless. It's just another excuse to ***** and moan. ![]() |

They swapped a lower number first round 2018 pick for a higher numbered one Then gave Green Bay a higher number 2019 first round pick They also gave Green Bay a 3rd round pick. Essentially they took a much desired player Ended up giving up a third and a late first round pick Marcus looked good against Green Bay Lets hope he has the drive to thrive |
