Week 4 Power Rankings (You know you love 'em)
This Week: 15
Previous ranking: 17 Team QBR: 62.8 QBR rank: 10th The jury is still out on how effective Jameis Winston will be, since the Saints haven't been in a truly close game yet. He has yet to attempt more than 22 passes or throw for more than 148 yards in a game. That worked great in the Saints' two victories, since they would love to rely on their defense and run game while avoiding turnovers. And he still provides the deep ball threat, as he displayed with a 55-yard scoring pass in Week 1. But Winston did throw a pair of desperation interceptions when things weren't going well in Week 2 and got away with an ill-advised TD pass while being hit in Week 3. -- Mike Triplett https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...terback-far#NO |

Re: Week 4 Power Rankings (You know you love 'em)
I expect the Saints to move up in the "power rankings" after Sunday.
Owner Mara is knocking over trash cans, Head Coach JJ is already on the hot seat & Jason Garrett's play-calling has been stale. The Giants are a bad football team. I can see Jameis & this offense gain momentum in week 4 ... especially playing at home. Dome Sweet Dome. |

QBR ratings are a fraud, an ESPN manufactured revisionist stat. The good ole fashion QB ratings are still the gold standard, and the one everyone else still uses.

This is my obligatory dismissal of the intellectual integrity of power rankings. These are almost as socially meaningful as ranking the spaces between road concrete slabs.
