I'm torn between giving us high-fives or tellin' that dude to put down the crack pipe.
Hope you don't mind me adding Foxsports power rankings to your topic... http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/powerRankings 8) |

Not at all. We should get a better gauge if these are accurate once we beat the Giants. Maybe we will go higher.

Dr Z kills me. 2 weeks ago, we're third in the south. Now....total chaos, one win, a year that will be physically and emotionally draining and we're up ahead of the Eagles. Nice.
I appreciate the props, but settle down press. You may ruin this team yet. I've seen a 6, 7, 10, and the more realistic 12. I have heard nobody say playoffs pre-katrina. Suddenly, the chaos makes us better? It's gonna be a hard year and every win will be tough. I still put us as a 7-10 win team. But, there is a serious x factor here and nobody really knows what to do with the Saints now. I'll say this....Haz was never able to totally get his guys consistently on the same page. He has been a flake at times in the past. But, he has handled himself with so much class and toughness so far that I am actually proud to have him as our coach. It really seems like he thrives on coaching a team that is in a bad spot. I don't want to get my hopes up is all. The post game prayer/speech on NFL network last night was absolutely moving. Haz said "there's something about this team...you guys are acting like family and I'm proud of you". It gave me chills and it made me proud to be a fan. Old Haz saints would buy the hype and lose on Monday.... New Haz saints may just come out with a vengeance.... Hey Eli...help out the homers and throw 5 picks |

Yep. If he has any heart at all for our plight down this way, he'll throw 3. I'm sure he's torn. Awake at night, staring at the ceiling on what he should do. Ya' know? 8) |

I thought we should be fourth, Atlanta did not impress me at all in beating Philly and KC is a QB away from a 8-8 season. Hate to keep saying, but I really can see us at least in the NFC Championship game this year and have already put $200.00 at 40-1 odds that the Saints will win the Superbowl.

There would be no way Atlanta would have won that game if Trotter was playing.

I hate rankings... means nothing unless you rank the teams based on wins. I didn't think the Saints played well enought to be ranked in the top 10. After 4 weeks sure rankings might be interesting then but now???

I agree with Euphoria. Has anyone ever noticed that the bigger they think we are, the harder we tend to fall? It seems that the Saints do their best work when the media isn't expecting much from the team.
