All-Pro nonetheless. You questioned The Dude for an accurate post. I guess you were wrong. It happens.

Yep. Yikes !!! Peat weighs what, 350 ?

It's amazing Winston's ankle isn't broken.

We could very easily be starting a rookie QB after something like that.

My sister hooked me and my Uncle (a "skins fan) up with great seats 7 rows behind the Saints bench surrounded by Who Dats! So my take aways from the game...

SP is finally trusting Jameis to do more with the play calls it seems. He really does need to settle down and get rid of the ball a bit quicker, because the line is holding up quite well. In spite of a couple of questionable throwing decisions, IMHO, JW has been solid. Period.

I don't get why our D continues to try to lay a big hit on opposing offense instead of wrapping them up! Too many instances of short gains being made into big chunks because some of our guys just don't TACKLE!

It seemed like their QB had all friggin' day to get rid of the ball. I saw almost no push up the middle to collapse the pocket. Our DB's covered well and Lattimore was ungodly! Their best weapon "Scary" Terry McLaurin was having fits trying to get open!

Gilliken! Good Lord! How did they find this one!

Kamara. Hitting his stride. Gotta love it.

Final Note: My Uncle was worried about being surrounded by so many folks in Black and Gold during the entire game. But even he was smiling after the Saints scored! WHO DAT! WHO DAT! WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS!!

Ruiz was supposed to be an addendum and secondary point. Like you said he is horrible at center, a head scratcher since it was his natural position in college. The NFL is faster and the center has a much bigger job in communication, I get it. Still kind of a head scratcher.

As for Armstead I think we can all agree that when he’s healthy he is one of the best and that’s a hella long list of star players.

The locals here in the metroplex are gushing over Trevon Diggs (he's playing well) as of late but I'd argue Marshon Lattimore is playing even better football right now.

Per PFF - ML has 8 forced incompletions in man coverage thus far.
Most in the NFL. What's even more impressive is that he's doing that with literally one hand.

But I digress :beatnik:.

Trevon Diggs is #1 in CB penalties and #4 in yards allowed. Marshon is so much better.

Yeah, but he plays for the Saints and Diggs for Dallas. That makes Diggs much better in the eyes of the national media.

He's called Shon for short

Lattimore said he doesn’t have a nickname, but is called Shon for short.

Kris Richard putting guys in a position to succeed.

Nothing against Glenn, but KR has been an upgrade. Guys on the back end are getting it done.

Glad Baldy took a moment to focus in on Pete Werner. He was active on Sunday. Overall it was a good day for Turner, Pete, and Adebo. ROOKIES.

Cesar Ruiz ...

Starting around timestamp :55, notice how he engages, moves his man a half yard off the line, and lets him go. AK does the rest.

And yet some around here claim Ruiz sucks. Go figure. Personally, I think Baldy knows a tad more about football than them, huh?

When are all of these times that Ruiz was supposedly pulled by Payton? Ruiz has been in on 100% of all offensive snaps in all five games this season.

I don't see how anyone can hate on Ruiz when Peat is in the lineup.

Hate does not need fertile soil to take root.

I did not like Baldinger as a color commentator in the booth. But I cannot get enough, I mean I really LOVE his Baldy Breakdowns!

One week later, still no fine from the league on the Taysom cheap shot vs Washington (W Jackson). And yes I called it a cheap shot. The shield gives you all of this "protecting players" & "helmet awareness" crap but ignores this.

The NFL clearly hates the Saints :disgusted:.
