Re: Observations from the Saints' Win over the Seahawks
Jameis needs to have his eyes checked out again. He’s not seeing the entire field. There were guys wide open on multiple plays. Instead of taking the easy completion, he’s making bad throws.
The Oline gets a D- for run blocking. |

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win over the Seahawks
Thought Jameis started rusty, we should have had at least 2-3 more scoring drives early. But, I thought he played really well overall. Ran it when he had to. Didn’t force anything. He missed several early targets, his WR’s cost him at least 3 downfield catches…Seattle is a tough place to play….just ask Geno..hah. Demario is a beast, wow. Dennis Allen adjusted his scheme and basically shut down the hawks. Game ball to Allen and also to Pete Carroll for such a ****ty game plan. We did get a little lucky, Seattle’s kicker basically hadn’t missed a kick in 2 years…..so that wasn’t normal. But sometimes you need a little luck….and Metcalf is a punk.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win over the Seahawks
Demario Davis was insane tonight, his best game of the year by far. Davenport is key to the pass rush. And go figure, we finally get in a nip and tuck game in bad weather with long drives where we could use Taysom the most, but he isn't available. Hopefully next game he'll be able to play and take some of the load off Kamara.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win over the Seahawks
I know JW is a bit inaccurate at times, but these WRs and TEs are not doing him any favors. The receivers the Saints have are extremely talented but simply not getting it done. Outside of Harris, after the season both WR and TE positions need a complete rebuild.
