Saints Trade for RB Mark Ingram

Running back Mark Ingram‘s return to New Orleans could last beyond the end of this season.

Field Yates of ESPN reports that Ingram signed a one-year extension with the Texans before his trade to the Saints became official. The Saints sent a seventh-round pick to Houston for his services.

He confirmed it in his presser today. League rules, he said, prevented a lot of options. He did not choose 8 or 9 out of respect. And he didn't want a number in the 30s. So he'll wear Andy Tanner's and Travin Dural's old number... for now.

I can't think of another NFL team that's as poorly run as the Texans. Wow.
