Wishing a speedy recovery for you Jameis!
This. We all knew this news was coming and it's still hard to hear.

If/when he comes back he's going to have to get a lot quicker with his progressions. I was previously proud of him for taking the sack, he needs to protect himself. I assumed our receivers weren't getting open but they mostly were for Trevor so now I don't know. Heck, watching the replay he got hurt it looks like Ingram is standing alone 5 yards in front of Winston.

That's my question. How is Trevor able to find the WRs and Winston couldn't? What? They tried harder to get open with Trevor? Makes the whole "WRs aren't getting open" argument with Winston seem a little less on the WRs and more on Winston.

But who knows? Guess we'll have to see what happens this week.

To be fair Winston was hitting our raggedy receivers right in their hands against Seattle and they just kept dropping them. It also helps to have Harris back.

He hit Smith for a TD with a nice throw before getting hurt too.

Siemian found receivers at a lower rate than did Winston in the game 55.17% to 60%. Siemian also had a horrible interception called back and fumbled the ball once. Were you watching the game?

Poor fella'. I was enjoying watching his progress through each game. He was a better decision player. Hopefully he will be back stronger and better at reading defenses. He took it in stride well. He has my respect.

I just saw the report on ESPN, pregame MNF reports.
ACL, danmn. Of all things.

So Hill, with more experience, and Sieman , not so much experience, but a big confidence booster eating Brady n TB yesterday, will have to carry on.
Both need to be played in every game.
Keep the other teams guessing.

Re: Luke Johnson | Jameis Winston tore his ACL and is out for the year

Tampa's game plan was on Winston, not a 3rd string QB. I counted 4 (Saints/Jets/Seattle/Cowboys) backups around the league who had success with their WR's "getting open" yesterday.

It's an entirely different ball game when coaches have tape.
