Re: Luke Johnson | Jameis Winston tore his ACL and is out for the year
If/when he comes back he's going to have to get a lot quicker with his progressions. I was previously proud of him for taking the sack, he needs to protect himself. I assumed our receivers weren't getting open but they mostly were for Trevor so now I don't know. Heck, watching the replay he got hurt it looks like Ingram is standing alone 5 yards in front of Winston.

But who knows? Guess we'll have to see what happens this week. |

To be fair Winston was hitting our raggedy receivers right in their hands against Seattle and they just kept dropping them. It also helps to have Harris back.

Poor fella'. I was enjoying watching his progress through each game. He was a better decision player. Hopefully he will be back stronger and better at reading defenses. He took it in stride well. He has my respect.

I just saw the report on ESPN, pregame MNF reports.
ACL, danmn. Of all things. So Hill, with more experience, and Sieman , not so much experience, but a big confidence booster eating Brady n TB yesterday, will have to carry on. Both need to be played in every game. Keep the other teams guessing. |

Re: Luke Johnson | Jameis Winston tore his ACL and is out for the year
Tampa's game plan was on Winston, not a 3rd string QB. I counted 4 (Saints/Jets/Seattle/Cowboys) backups around the league who had success with their WR's "getting open" yesterday.
It's an entirely different ball game when coaches have tape. |
