Got paid. Disappeared. Hope he never wears black and gold again.

Agreed. And why would anyone want a guy like OBJ on the team? Talk about Diva. Why??!!!!

Because the Saints don't just add players on the team.
Players JOIN our team, and they join our system and culture or they get cut.
Trust me, if Michael Thomas is our greatest DIVA, then we have zero worries. I just think MT may have played his last game in a Saints uniform.

Accidentally leave him and CGJ in a room together. Then he will have something to heal from. 😁

And typically this isn't supposed to be a skill player heavy draft. Seems to be the best players are linemen on both sides of the ball from what I've read.

Won't odel need to clear waivers, if so he's not coming here

I'm trying to stay calm and take the emotion out of it. But what I will say is this situation has been royally botched after the initial injury last year. Our medical team, Michael himself, his own doctors or advisors or whatever combination of parties was responsible need to try to learn from this.

Honestly it's one of the biggest disasters in Saints franchise history. All over a high ankle sprain.

Just a repeat from the discussion on DeSean Jackson:

"Who goes through waivers? Players with less than four years of accrued service time are subject to waivers. A player with at least four years of accrued service time, referred to as a “vested veteran” immediately becomes a free agent and is eligible to sign with any other team."

from: https://dknation.draftkings.com/nfl/...y-claims-order

OBJ would be an immediate free agent if released.

UPDATE: Reading is fundamental. From the same article:

"Is this the same all season?
No. After the trade deadline passes on November 2, vested veterans will have to go through waivers if released."

I was mistaken.

That only applies prior to the trade deadline.

Edit:

:D

I see you found it.

That goes against things I’ve read. Jackson did not immediately hit as FA. He needed to clear waivers:

I think OBJ would be the same, no?
