Re: Michael Thomas has injury setback, return to the Saints is still unclear
Since this was his third game called up from the PS, do y’all think Sean will put him on the 53 roster?

That is not the type of player I would be looking at. I'd rather stick with Kevin White who is humble and trying to make a comeback then a spoiled, selfish, tantrum throwing child like OBJ. Just my opinion. |

Re: Michael Thomas has injury setback, return to the Saints is still unclear
When I first saw him in a Saints uniform I told my twin brother "That man is going to sell a lot of jerseys." I was impressed with him at training camp and knew he could be great. My, how the mighty have fallen. I imagine we'll see a lot less of those jerseys on game days soon. I've been off his band wagon every since he stopped taking calls from the front office and then needed surgery. Now this!
I must say that I'm not really surprised. He screwed the team again because the team believed he was coming back and they didn't make a needed trade for a primary receiver. That's at least twice that I know of he's let the Saints nation down. I'm done with liking him! Now, I just want to see him make big plays next year if we don't trade him....which I kind of hope we do.:biggun: |

I'm not a medical expert, but everything about the full timeline of MT's injury screams to me that the diagnosis of the injury was done wrong in the first place. I bet this was far more than a garden variety high ankle sprain. Must have been some other major damage, or the sprain was so severe it really required a different approach/timetable/surgery from the get-go. Every setback is just fallout from the original mishandling. Who to blame for that, I don't know, but it's not wrong to wonder if person(s) should be fired or sued - on Saints or MT's side - for how badly this has gone.
