You just can’t ignore the position for 3 years and expect to compete offensively with the big boys.

Remember back when we won that “chip”, we had weapons at TE & WR.

We had reliable role players. Saint don't need to draft WR in the first they can get a starter in the second. Most offensive weapons don't equal SB BEST team does and sometimes that's not the case gwt starters at whatever position they draft guys that can come in and play immediately and help the team win

DT QB LB CB OT C WR RB TE don't matter just don't draft any injury "prone" guys or projects they need impact players with their first 4 picks especially the 2 first rounders

So, if WR Drake London falls to us as an option in Round 1, do you take him?

Of Wilson, Olave, Williams, London, how'd you rank 'em?

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting

Drake London’s kind of redundant with Michael Thomas. Plus, there are so many teams in front of us who could use a big-bodied receiver.

I want speed at the position, but knowing how much we value run blocking in our WR’s the question becomes which of these fast guys is the best run blocker??

And while some players are rising, Kyle Hamilton continues to fall. Many in the league tell me they think Hamilton ends up somewhere between picks 15 to 20. That’s still later than I expected and is a precipitous drop for a prospect still graded by some as the top player in this draft.

Dennis Allen wouldn’t even hesitate.

Brisker might be a better fit...

Cole Strange - OG Chattanooga

6'5 310 ... mid/late-round diamond in the rough? (See Carl Nicks)

Cole is versatile and very quick for his size. High football IQ. Solid athlete with the ability to recover.

IMO our current guards continue to be the weak link of the O-line.

Chattanooga has produced some good NFL players. They had a pretty good team when I lived there. I totally agree that we definitely need to improve on our current set of guards.

I taught a self defense class at UTC when I lived in Chattanooga years ago.

I thought about doing my own first round mock while I have a nice lazy Sunday, but I’m so completely unsure of what any team is going to do this year. A couple QB’s could go in the top 10, or no QB’s at all go in the first round. So unpredictable.
