Considering were currently picking 13th and we dont trade down, we need a young playmaker. Thats too early for a RT.

The point of my mock draft was for the Saints to have heavy emphasis on offensive line and yet still show steals, value avail at WR throughout the draft... Major asked about a specific WRz; not sure who that veteran WRz opposite WRx Michael Thomas is (still may want to trade for Brandin Cooks), waiting to see what shakes out... But adding a veteran No. 2 WR, you could potentially have Thomas, (Cooks/Player To be named), Montgomery, Harris, Callaway -that's pretty good... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
It's a very intriguing WR free agent class. Plenty of guys still in that prime age range that coming off down years, injury, or things just haven't quite clicked yet. There's also some higher priced former studs as well.
Along with the names mentioned in the above post(Gallup/Shuster)... Mike Williams, SD Adam Humphries, WFT Allen Robinson, CHI Russell Gage, ATL DJ Chark, JAX Jamison Crowder, NYJ Christian Kirk, ARZ These guys could certainly help and there's still upside there. I've always found Pringle and Robinson interesting out of KC. At the very least, they can stretch out the field and should be cost effective. Trade target wise, I know interdivisional trades are tough to come by but I'm a fan of Tyler Johnson out of TB. I'd love to see what he could do in extended snaps. It's been quite a log jam over there. I'm not typically big proponent in Bama draft prospects(far too often they peak out in college regarding upside), but Jameson Williams is a legitimate game breaker. I want plus there's that vaunted Ohio State connection there as well. You know the Saints love those. |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |
