We should start to get some rumors this week from the scouting combine. Although, in all the years of following the draft the Saints haven’t drafted a single player that I’ve heard they’re showing a lot of interest in. It’s the rumors and speculation though that keeps us going this time of year.

Only one game over 250 PaYd; injured in the last game, but he was injured late in the second quarter...

Of his 14 PaTDs, nine (9) came in two (2) of seven (7) games - the Green Bay outlier, and the other against a Redskins team missing three of its five DBs...

Jameis Winston also had the benefit of playing with the healthier, better offensive linemen this past season and still that were his paltry numbers...

Sorry, not sorry, Winston is overrated and we definitely shouldn't overpay - he's not the answer...

Are you trying to play Devil's Advocate here?

You'd have to NOT watch any of those games to think Winston was overrated.

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting

Dohnovan West - interior offensive lineman
Arizona State

Has played right and left guard/center in college.

Versatile player / mid to late-round selection.

His teammate at OT Kellen Diesch is interesting, though scouts are saying he'd need a #RedshirtSeason to build his functional strength...

Length? He's only listed at 6' 4" and the Saints Scouting have their profiles; also described as raw, so would he be a Day 1 starter?

Tyler Linderbaum, C (Iowa)

Pick #18.

Would Dougie M even consider moving Erik back to Guard & Ruiz demoted?

Imagine how many people would come unglued if that was the pick here :).

Yes sir.

Technique/hand speed is good, athletic & dominated in the run game. His tape shows that he is very, very strong. I wouldn't rule him out transitioning to guard.

Oh JP, don't let the 6'4 (length) fool ya. Look at how rookie of year - 2021 (former 1st rounder pick #13) Rashawn Slater dominated at OT.

Almost identical measurables to Ikem.
