The Saints coaches don't need 3-5 years to evaluate a quality starter on the O line. CSP knows exactly what he has within the first two seasons & Ruiz won't be any different.

Hopefully, he turns into a decent backup. The guy was simply a reach in the first round.
No, but what 100% of offensive snaps does tell you is that the coaches didn't feel they had a better option available at any point during the entire season, wouldn't you agree? If by some miracle he lines up on the line in game one this coming season it becomes obvious that someone sees something we don't.

Lecitus Smith - G Va Tech

Strong at the point of attack, good balance with a "mauler mentality".

Some Scouts see LS as an early Day 2 selection.

I believe that Jenkins is strictly an in the box safety with limited free safety skills.

How was his arm?

Maybe trade up and grab Williams in early round 2? Time to recover.

If he falls into the second round I wouldn’t mind that. If I was a team in the late first round I’d just go ahead and take him.

Maybe they could get picks say 18 and 40 for a reasonable price and get williams there.
