The first time I'd heard the Saints mention they had a preferred type or size for IOL was when Sean was talking about signing Goodwin, and he went into length on the IOL... He said that was what attracted them to Carl Nicks was that as a big man like that engaged, it gave 'em some more range to get push on the inside. First I'd heard that thinking... But if you look at what they've signed, used on the inside, even Center, rarely did they deploy guys 6' 3" at C or even below 6' 5" with Jahri Evans being the exception... |
