Taysom or Book?
I say Taysom... let him show his wares the rest of the season. And let's keep Book under wraps for later... unless Taysom stinks it up bad enough. | |

I wanted Siemian to get a chance, and he got it. Hasn't worked out well. I know there have been injuries and problems with drops, but maybe the change needs to be made while there is a chance of salvaging "anything" out of this season.

At this point, one might consider that there have been too many injuries to salvage a season. The deep cap hole for next year makes free agency acquisitions a futile dream. Retrench. Work on technique. Develop off brand talent. Plan for 2024.

What deep cap hole? There is going to be another huge jump in the cap this year. There are several players with contracts that can easily be reworked via extension to free up quite a bit more space. There's speculation that the 2024 cap can be well over $250 million based upon the new broadcast and wagering contracts.
