DEFENSE BETTER DIAL IN SOMETHING RADICAL.
When your defense has spent 2/3 of the game on the field because of repeated three and outs by your offense they are going to start breaking down. They'll start allowing runs up the middle, missing tackles, and letting coverage breakdown. That's not because the defense is bad. It's because they are gassed. I was at the game. The defense was totally worn out. Blowing wind.

Go back and re-watch the Bills' early drives. Was our Defense totally worn out already? No, maybe don't.

Looks like Kamara, Ingram and Ram might be back. That's a plus. But I really have little faith in this team right now.

They gotta pull themselves out of a hole. A big one.

A couple of early sacks, stopping the run, MAKE TACKLES, a quick pick six in the first quarter, and the Dome will be ON FIRE. Then we can can talk about Kamara and Ingram all night in LIVE CHAT.

The offense has been stagnant. The defense is not as good as they thought they were.

We had some early season success but this team is not good. They're gonna have to come alive.

They were facing one of the best QB's in the game with their best scripted plays. They started with good field position after the Saints opening possession went three and out. They scored on a ten play drive. Saints fizzled out after six plays. Bills get shut down after netting only 8 yards on their next drive. Saints turns the ball over next possession on downs giving the Bills the ball on their own 46. Defense holds Bills to a field goal. The Saints offense manages 11 yards on their next possession giving the ball back the Bills once again. The Saints defense picks off Josh Allen on the possession. The Saints offense stalls after three plays and the special teams attempted a bad fake punt giving the Bills excellent field position once again. Starting at midfield the Bills work the ball down and Allen is picked off once again. Siemian kneels on the ball to end the half.

Now tell me what the defense did so bad on the Bills early drives. They were put in bad situations by the offense and special teams and held them to 157 total yards and 10 points in the first half.

I don't do live chat. Tried it once and hated it. Nothing but constant *****ing and moaning. I'd rather sit and watch closely. But, I'll be back in Section 229 watch in person again.

ALL of that aside, THE DEFENSE IS GOING TO HAVE TO BE ABSOLUTELY ON FIRE on Thursday night. PERIOD.

The very first TD by the Bills, Minneapolis Marcus missed another tackle that he should have made.

Yet he had FOUR tackles on that first drive. I don't remember a missed tackle. He was barely able to get a hand on Knox on that play. That wouldn't qualify as a missed tackle. He came into the game as the NFL's 2nd ranked safety according to Pro Football Focus. Kevin Byard was 1st.
