Re: THURSDAY NIGHT IS ON THE DEFENSE.
I've included some pictures of the TD.
First picture, Marcus squaring him up to tackle. Second picture, Marcus grabbing dust. |

Re: THURSDAY NIGHT IS ON THE DEFENSE.
I don’t see anything wrong with pointing out issues the defense has. Philly ran it down their throats. They couldn’t hold lead against Atl and NY. They aren’t getting much QB pressure and, when they do, they don’t contain the QB well. It was fantastic that they held Buff to 10 first half points. But it wasn’t a dominating performance. For the most part Bills drove from drive 1 and D couldn’t stop them but for the Ints. And the Bills scored on drive 1 of the first half and drive 1 of the second. Don’t want to hear the “tired” excuses. Offense sucked big time. Defense was average.

Re: THURSDAY NIGHT IS ON THE DEFENSE.
Agree completely. See the ravens and Trent dilfer. Am avg offense that used ball control with a dominant defense.

You don't rush and contain a QB at the same time. If you sack him he is contained, if you fail to sack him he is gone. It is one or the other with very different approaches. Pressure and containment do not go hand in hand. |

Re: THURSDAY NIGHT IS ON THE DEFENSE.
I'm not expecting much from the team this week or the rest of the year to be honest. Next year however has a different feel to me as usual. Hope springs eternal!
