Not necessarily. Payton usually shoots the media straight and Tampa Bay's secondary is broke.

This roster was mostly constructed to match up well with the Bucs. Jenkins usually covers Gronk pretty well. We won't have Jameis and basically won that last game out of pure emotion after the shock of that season ending injury. But I think we defy the odds and nab the W again. We have more at stake than the Bucs do - pretty low odds on them nabbing the #1 seed. I think we'll continue to live rent free in the pirate ship.

I think the team has it in them, but the refs will screw the Saints. That’s my prediction. A questionable key roughing the passer or PI or block in the back will go against them at some point that will give the edge to Tampa. Hope I’m wrong of course.

If the defense can come up with a couple of turnovers that actually get converted to points... then the Saints can win this.

And for the record let me repeat my disdain for night games. Win or lose I am too worked up to go to bed and end up with little sleep before work in the morning.

One of the pleasures of retired life. That said, still up at 6:00 every morning.

You're not. And you won't be. The NFL will make sure the Saints lose.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some surprise "positive" Covid tests pop up either. Just another way the league can control games just like the government controls it's people.
