Working under Payton for so many years has to be a plus.
If Winston could have stayed healthy we would have had a legitimate shot with the defense we have right now. Taysom would be in his regular role and our offense would be able to do just enough to keep us ahead in close games.
Damn shame we didn’t have this defense when Brees was in his prime.

Also, what is it with Brady getting pissed off at defenders just for doing their job? He acts like a sack or interception is breaking the rules. Dudes truly an elitist who believes he doesn’t have to play by the same rules as everyone else.
I’ve never liked him but last night showed me just how much of a POS he really is.

Honestly, people will say he's a competitor but he's such a sore loser it's unreal.

After the pick he ran over and shouted at one of our coaches too, guy is a grade A tool.

If Adam Gase  can get TWO cracks (failed miserably both times) at HC, why can't Allen?

He's relatively young too. In the right system, he could succeed as Head Coach.

Panthers, Giants, and Texans could all have HC vacancies once the 2021 season is complete.

Yes, but consider that Belichick won 36 games out of 80 over five years with the lowly Cleveland Browns plus a rare playoff victory in his first try.

Allen led the Oakland Raiders to back to back 4-12 seasons in his first two years only to be fired after starting 0-4 in his third season.

Allen's name comes up every year but he never gets the call. Once again, not every great coordinator translates to a good head coach. I believe that's how he is view by those in the know.

Especially considering the franchise he coached for. Not many coaches have had success with the raiders since Gruden left the first time.

That someone could be the Saints, with all the unreliable rumors flying around about SP getting offers from other Cities.

I think this is the perfect example of the Peter Principle.

"The Peter Principle observes that employees rise up through a firm's hierarchy through promotion until they reach a level of respective incompetence."

Dennis Allen makes a great DC, but his strengths are not used at the next level.

That said, I can see a team offering him a ton of money trying to steal him from the Saints as a DC.

And Josh McDaniel keeps getting mentioned, and he didn't light the world on fire either.

Yes. My opinion ... and that of many others over the years. He was miserable with the Raiders as head coach. But great before and after as DC.

If you feel so. We'll see. I expect this offseason will once again pass him over and I really think that's best for his career. He makes damned good money doing what he's doing and he's great at it. Uprooting his family to try to do something he failed at miserably a few years back gains him what?

It really magnifies what a feat the Saints defense pulled off when you see the Bucs still lead the entire league in points scored with a shutout thrown in.

He hasnt been under the radar money wise if he leaves cool no problem, but if hes trying to win and longevity he should stay put. Coaching oppurtunites come with bad teams alot of the times I say 3 more seasons and the Saints wont be able to keep him UNLESS we are Winning RINGS...

As a matter of perspective, five of Miami's last six games have come against the Giants, Jets twice, Carolina, and the Texans. Their lone game against a team without a losing record was the Ravens in week 10 in Miami.

I had a player that I played with and refereed who was famous for sneaking up behind the ref and "accidentally knocked him to the ground when he wasn't looking" and then yelling sorry sir. He got called down loudly by me in front of both teams before kickoff. If he did that to me he was gone from the game, and I would report him and ensure he wouldn't play again for a long time. I stayed clean. Lol

Also, Brady is a spoiled little whiny rich girl.
