No Brooks Bashing
I don't want to hear one person jumping on Brooks for this one. This was a total team sh*tfest and everyone took a dump on the field.
I can't think of one person on the team who looked good tonight. Horn and Stallworth looked the best, but they both still made a couple of very costly errors. Who looked the worst you ask? Who gives a flip. A loss is a loss. Same old Saints. Great one week. Crappy the next. This is no suprise to me. As soon as all of this "America's Team" bullcrap ends and they feel like the world is against them they will come out and play hard smart football again. Look out for next week. Minnesota is not coming out of the gate 0-3. We are about to go 1-2 and you can take that to the bank. Oh and by the way any praising comments that I had for Jason Craft last week, I now recend. Also, Kudos to Jim Haslett who managed to pull a trick I have never seen before: Losing two timeouts on one challenge. I didn't even know that was possible. Maybe next week he will try and burn all three of our timeouts on a challenge. Seriously someone needs to take his little red flag away from him at the beginning of the game and run with it. Has he ever won a challenge, ever? I can't remember of one challenge he has ever won. I will now kill myself. |

RE: No Brooks Bashing
This post is not going to stop it. I'm not saying AB doesn't deserve blame, but there are going to be those that put this loss squarely on him. That's unfortunate. He had a bad game, but there were several worse performers out there tonight; the o-line as a group to name one. UGLY from start to finish. Just UGLY.

So I guess you aren't a "true" Saints fan anymore. You just predicted us losing to the Vikings and just proclaimed our whole team garbage.

RE: No Brooks Bashing
Why am I not a true Saints fan anymore? Because I told the truth about the turd sandwich we laid tonight. I didn't call our team garbage, I said they played like garbage. (There's a subtle difference that only an astute person would pick up on) And yes although I will be rooting for the Saints next week it is my OPINION that they will get waxed by a desperate Vikings team that always wacks us in Minnesota. However, unlike yourself I will not be rooting for any NFC teams other than the Saints this year.

I'm sorry I just get confused. I haven't ordered a copy of "Stockman311's Guide to being a True Saints fan" yet. If you have a spare copy, please do share. Please if you send me a copy, mark down the page and highlight the key rules that I need to abide by.

Will do. However, I don't know if someone as obtuse as yourself speaks the same language that I write in.

RE: No Brooks Bashing
o-line except Jammal Brown was horrible - couldn't run block worth a damn and Bently was the worst out of all of them
Deuce didn't have a burst or vision to avoid their defense. Brooks was ok til he became Mr. butter finger Horn was brilliant til he tried to do to much and fumble the ball Stallworth, this is the best I ever seen him perform but he did cause a interception whenhe tip the ball up Conwell, I don't know what happen to him. Had a break through game the drop a sure TD(possible game changer) Defense Jason Craft, all I can say is cut him and go find J. Williams Sedrick Hodge need to switch position to free safety what ever happen to the pass rush? I believe they are so concern on stoping the run cuz our lb suck so bad . |

RE: No Brooks Bashing
It all starts on the sidelines when someone decides to get cute on the opening kick off. that was aterrible play to start off and if no one has mentioned it Mcafee really blew it with that fumble. The Beer man might be hurt which goes to show that you can't just keep running out of bounds and think you won't get injured. Take your lumps punk. We will beat the vikings next week...count on it.

RE: No Brooks Bashing
Anyone notice Brown has 3 false start penalties for the past 2 weeks? It's amazing how one week we all praise Conwell and the next week he plays like garbage. We all saw the first down pass he dropped to go along with that touchdown pass he missed. Even his blocking was horrible. Not once did we see Hilton... sigh. |
