But Bako’s post focused on money and comparing the Saints to other teams as a way to press the idea the future is bleak. The cap situation is a factor of chasing the title with Brees’s last years. I don’t mind that. I’m not sure how much it hurt us. The only WR lost from last year is Emmanuel. That’s hardly gutting. In fact, I’d ask him to name the player that was on the roster last year that he would most like to have on the roster for this year to demonstrate the gutting he is referring to.

I don't think the future is bleak and I'm with you. Spend the money. I have ultimate faith in the Coach and GM. Ultimate.

I can't be convinced that Sean went into the season thinking our WRs were more than a project, and we came away with what we know. We have a lot of second level talent WR. We only have one genuine playmaker there and he never played. Sanders was a playmaker and he of course isn't here. So coach went run first... Drew, as we know, was worth every penny we paid him.

We passed for fewer yards per game than: the Giants, Bears, Texans...let me make is easier. We were dead last. Regardless of who we played at QB. That's a product of a lot of things. We have work to do. Someone suggested trading MT. Now I wouldn't do that, but I sure do understand the logic.

Kamara is too valuable to run him into a line that can't block 30 times a game. I'm satisfied with a reset this offseason. It just wasn't our year.

Let be realistic and acknowledge that it would have been very hard for any team to have played any better than the Saints did this year with the extent of injury to starters and rotational players.

The loss of Lutz contributed to 2 loses, Giants and Titans. Rosa missed a FG against the Giants and we ended up in OT. Missed 2 XP against Titans which forced us to go for 2 on third TD and we lose by 2. Losing Lutz cost us those 2 games.

TreQuan might have saved his future in NOLA or his career in general, with his showing on Sunday. We need more of that guy next year.

Among my bucket list, to live long enough for the Saints to be ahead in the Overall Win-Loss side of the ledger...

This should happen fairly soon. Even with skid-britches they've been losing ground at breakneck speed. Once he's gone they'll be left in the dust.

I hope we are done with Trequan to be honest, he does that every year, has 1 or 2 good games.

He reminds me of Reggie Bush in a way, when he's on form, he looks elite, but he looks like his heads not in the game for 3/4 of the season.

Idk about that. Reggie always seemed like a morale booster and was a threat to do something cool. 3Quan has never really been a threat. Lol.

Lol the main reason I used the Reggie example, was in 2018 Eagles game, Trequan had one of the best games and some of the best catches I've seen from a Saints WR. It was a shame it only lasted one game.
