The Saints organization doesn’t have enough fingers on two hands to point out how many ways the NFL had tried to screw them but no, this wasn’t one of them. No way in hell are the Rams giving up a 2 seed and title just to screw the Saints who wouldn’t be any real threat in the playoffs anyway. I’m sure they would much rather have had a chance to play us than the 49r’s for a third time.

Eric Weddle has come out of retirement to join the Los Angeles Rams for their playoff hunt. Weddle’s agent announced the veteran safety’s return on Wednesday.

Every team has as much money as they want. It all depends upon how they structure contracts.
