Re: 2022 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
I do not want Watson here
Multiple reason, it will kill the cap in the future. Yeah we can keep restructuring players but do you really want to be paying vets big money past their prime because you had to keep extending them. Peats wide ass should have been out the door already after that horrible deal but the constant restructuring has kept him here, same will probably happen with others. Need to get back to drafting well and giving up 3 1sts and other things on a QB that going to cost a fortune in picks, players and who is very likely facing a suspension(as if Goodell isn't sitting polishing his ban hammer for a longer suspension if he is in NOLA). Giving away 3 x 1st when you have a team that needs to give a new deal to McCoy,Davenport and Gardner-Johnson,Throckmorton,Ingram,Harty,Calloway, add Roby and Onyemata contracts voiding. it leaves you a pretty poor roster once you get past the flashy names at the top. And having no top round picks till 2025 does not help that, especially when you have restructured the big contracts to make the players vertially untradeable. |
"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!
