Some of the linemen that played that night were signed the day of and previous day - we had that many people out (C19) by medical disqualification...

If you listen to the Sean Payton interview with Rich Eisen that Smash posted, he mentions he literally met two players right before the game...

Per ProFootballReference | Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints - December 27th, 2021, our starting offensive line was:

T Caleb Benenoch
T James Hurst
G Calvin Throckmorton
G Cesar Ruiz
C Erik McCoy

T Kyle Murphy and G Will Clapp had to come into the game and see some snaps as well...

For the record, not an Ian Book fan, it was his ND vs Bama tape that convinced me of his ceiling...
