I'm seeing clear examples of why people have formed the opinion that they don't like him. Mainly his reaction, like many others, to Drew's baited statement about kneeling during the anthem and his decision to trust his personal sources to wait before going down the surgery path. Add to that his supposedly ignoring attempts to contact him. Those are all perfectly viable reason to dislike him, I suppose. But, none of those are what I would classify as "diva" behavior. A diva is defined as someone who is temperamental and hard to please. A diva will go to the press to complain about touches for example. Antonio Brown is a diva. It's all about him and he let's everyone know that. Michael Thomas is never out there spouting off or complaining.

Once again, I understand why some of you dislike him, but I just haven't seen that claimed "diva" tag being accurate.
Symantec's game, and your definition of DIVA.

Wasn't he holed up in an apartment in LA and then sued the landlord for something ridiculous? Just another example of DIVA behavior.

Again, we are going to have to agree to disagree. I am the only one that has mentioned the Brees factor. It is obvious their timing was critical when he made the brief return and caught 0 passes.

I forgot about his disrespect towards Drew, kind of like biting the hand that feeds. This was not a main reason for anything as you seem to think, I forgot all about it until you mentioned it.

These two were clutch together time and time again. That was then, this was now. Time will tell if he can connect with Winston or Dalton, two totally different styles of QB's from Brees.

Don't want em to get your goat don't show em where it's hid.

Injured NFL star Michael Thomas sues landlord over $60K recovery rental

It was a condominium and it "had malfunctions relating to the pool, garage doors and kitchen appliances." He had rented it to have space and privacy for his rehab work.

The article also says, "On top of that, the landlord’s unnamed representative allegedly repeatedly showed up unannounced, which is illegal in the state of California."

How is that a diva attitude? Wouldn't you consider suing the landlord if he refused to give you a refund, as well. I know I would.

Defending Thomas you sound like a teenager who keeps getting into trouble and blaming others. It’s always someone else’s fault and never his responsibility. Suspended for fighting? “Not my fault!” Didn’t keep in contact with your boss? “Not my fault!” Problems with your rehab after ghosting training staff? “Not my fault!” Twitter spat with a choir boy future HOF teammate? “Not my fault!” Legal issues involving a rental property you only needed to rent because you ignored your training staff? “Not my fault!” It’s never your fault…”everyone just hates me!”.

We get it; you’ve got your nose so far up his rear you wouldn’t care if he walked into your home and peed in your oatmeal. Now go ahead and label me a hater because I (and others) don’t think this is the way your highest paid player should carry himself. I’ll take Winston’s attitude over Thomas’s any day.

You think you know, but you don’t know...and you never will! Coach Jim Mora

You really truly dislike Mr. Thomas. You have made that fact perfectly clear. Personally, I look for reasons to like people rather than reasons to hate them. To each his own.

And you are completely 100% wrong. I can separate if I approve of someone’s actions from weather or not I dislike the person. I do it frequently with my daughter. I can be unhappy if she doesn’t study or acts rudely or avoids a chore. But guess what….I still love her and wish her no ill will. YOU are apparently incapable of understanding such distinction. It’s why you put labels like “hater” on people. As a person who claims to have faith in God I would think you would understand that.

Fans will have diverse viewpoints, whether the team wins or not. We've fortunate of late to win more than not. In the age of new fat contracts, many will say overly fat contracts, it's accelerated the divergent discourses as fans love their team(s). Nonetheless it's the discussions of those teams that we follow and love, many of which we've had with our own friends and family outside of this cool little forum, that foster new ideas and many times new friendships in cool little forums like these. We're all considered family here. Nurturing our friendships here is worth the effort.

I recently moved back to Louisiana. I planned on hosting activities for BnG I thought in time for this year's draft. 2020 and its consequences have been challenge for everybody. Next year I'll begin. And we can nurture our camaraderie with a BnG Draft event.

Make sure you post about it next year. I think it sounds like fun. Do you want to meet up at training camp this year? My twin brother and I will be in town along with a couple of other BNG members who are meeting up with us.

Yes, of course. Please update your meetup thread. I'll sticky it.
