Re: 2022 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

Speaking of the roster ... how about the coach's roster

Any thoughts on the new guy coaching our WRs Kodie Burns? Can he possible elevate the play of MT, Landry? Polish up the younger guys in Olave, Harty & Callaway?

I think Dougie M & Dr. Matt Rhea are both X factors in the team's success for 2022.

Thoughts?

Thomas will be more focused on getting to full strength; Landry is a humble guy and will say he learns something each day...

His priority will be is getting Olave adapted to the NFL game as quickly as possible; and improving Harty, Callaway and maybe Dixon or other UDFA will be lagniappe...

I don't know much about Landry but a friend of mine from the Cleveland area said "Good luck with Landry. That guy is a selfish player. He'll get a catch for a first down and negate the progress by taunting other players".

That said, I think that he's a solid pick up and is playing for a more professional organization that will hold him accountable for his behavior on the field. Payton would allow Michael Thomas the muscle flex on a first down as long as he didn't cost the team negative yards due to penalties and I'm certain that Allen will follow suit.

He sounds like a hater, TBH. Cleveland been trash for years and Juice along with Baker and other players that fan base ****s on made them relevant for once. They should really be appreciative of what those guys did for that bum ass franchise.

That sounds a lot like what Saints fans were dealing with in the early 2000's. A lot of fans disliked Aaron Brooks because they didn't like his demeanor or thought that he wasn't a good QB. He was a good QB. Not top tier but certainly above average. The man helped bring the Saints the first playoff win in Saints history!

To your point, I think you're correct. My buddy is a hater even after his broke-ass franchise seemed to be heading in the right direction.
