Wholeheartedly agree. They were talking about this very thing today during Internet *******s and the Secret Lives They Live on Sirius XM.
He’s been the common denominator in every disagreement on this site. He really adds nothing other than posting a few links someone else would eventually wind up posting anyway.
The baits people into argument under the guise of being an eternal optimist. He doesn’t believe one word of the crap he posts. It’s just a persona made up to garner attention.
He is by far the most negative soul sucking poster on this board and I’m happy to see people finally call him out. I vote for a ban. Send him over to SR with that BS. He will fit right in.

Have you noticed that anytime anyone posts in this thread Speedo posts to cover it up a few minutes later. This dude is sick, truly.

A few weeks ago was his final attempt at race-baiting. Not any more though, eh speedo? All you can do now is attack me, otherwise your little victim routine won't fly - a brilliant plan if I do say so myself. Told ya little speedo. All you had to do was listen to my wisdom. You chose poorly...

I can more easily see leaving to do something else (ie. TV). That's considerably different than going elsewhere to do the same job. No coaching position could match what he has in New Orleans.

Payton’s a horrible public speaker. Why would they want him to do TV? I can’t stand listening to him.

I think I alluded to this earlier ... LOL!

All of this talk about taking a year off as the coach of the Saints ... where have we heard this before?

Sean Payton's last tweet ...

And what might this have to do with the rumors of taking a year off? How about a movie about taking a year off!

Could we all have been duped?

I thought the same thing, but as an analyst I could see it. He would need a lot of coaching from a real broadcaster...how ironic.

And speedo will drop in to cover up this post in 3, 2, 1...

The reason this isn't true is because it isn't. There is a big difference between asking someone to stop (what I did) and proactively trying to get someone banned (what speedo wants everyone to think I did).

A mentally healthy person would have stopped harassing people a LONG time ago, like in 2018 when I first warned him that I'd give him a dose of his own snake oil in a relentless way if he didn't stop.

2018

He will divide this board over his own ego.

It's stops when YOU stop little speedo, and not a fraction of a second before, which is a real challenge when dealing with NPD I understand, but you'll dig your own grave little man. At this point it likely means openly apologizing for the race-baiting and trolling of members of this forum, which I recognize your ego will resist...Keep on digging...

https://res.cloudinary.com/teepublic.../2974429_0.jpg

You absolutely owe me no explanation or need to apologize( to me )why this is happening, I'm glad your doing it to be honest. I almost left this board because of him. Man... it got to the point my stomach turned reading his post toward CERTAIN posters on here. because they didn't agree with his views. Your 100% correct about him acting like the VICTIM in this. Keep up the excellent work it's surely slowed him down quite a bit.

Sounds like Payton’s trying to duck the QB situation. No real franchise QB’s in the draft and we pretty much have to go with Jameis who may not even be ready to play by training camp.

I agree. I'm torn because Sean doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would do that ala Pete Carrol, but man after having that position sewed up and played at the highest level for a decade it's got to be frustrating.

In Payton I trust. Give it a few days, Chris. I have a feeling things will clear up quickly.

Re: Payton to take a year off?

I don't want to return to the pre Payton era. We need a good HC regardless of whether he stays or not. Is Allen up to the job? I have no clue. I think we should probably give him a year and see where we are at. If it doesn't work out, we'll have a good place in the draft and the opportunity to take someone that would be a skilled HC. I would not mind Pete Carroll tbh. I think Seattle is crazy to want to get rid of him. I think he's a incredible motivator and probably a fun guy to play under. The ultimate player's coach.

He's no Madden in terms of being a commentator.

If he really does move on, while thankful for bringing the Saints a SB, I would feel disappointed, maybe even betrayed, from his walking away before the team had fully transitioned from Brees.

He can take his time off during the off season and get refreshed during the next three months.

Like Jim Mora said in the above posted clip, there are only 32 jobs as HC of an NFL team. I don't think he's done yet and feel he wants to win one more Tiffany before he goes. And to do it with a different QB other than Brees would elevate him even more in the coaching ranks.

Same, unless there are personal considerations that warrant it I just don't see him leaving us in the lurch. Aside from speedo, who probably digs through Sean's garbage, we'll just have to wait him out.

Re: Payton to take a year off?

Lets say Payton does decide to step away from football... would fans be against this?

HC - Dennis Allen
OC - Pete Carmichael
DC - Ryan Nielsen

All moot if we make a big acquistion at quarterback. You can bet Payton would put this rumor to rest with the quickness.

“If” Sean is interested in taking a back seat for coaching in 2022 …

No to Dennis Allen. He’s not HC material.

Past history suggests that def coordinators do not transition well as Head Coaches. Fangio, Romeo C, Saleh, Allen (Raiders) have failed.

Bellichick is the outlier.

I don't know Dennis Allen papz. He's smart but he doesn't know how to close and always loses a stinker or two to brain *****.

Mike Tomlin, Pete Carroll, Mike Vrabel, Sean McDermott, Ron Rivera, Braden Staley, etc. Belichick is not an outlier.

Some guys are meant to be coordinators though. Whether Allen is one of them, who knows. I'm sure we'll find out sooner than I'd like to know.

I’m speaking in terms of championships.

Nonetheless, Dennis isn’t HC material. His background is all defense and I don’t see him as an offensive mind.
